Jesus Christ is the son of the Lord God and the saviour of the world. He was born to the virgin Mary and her fiancée Joseph in 04BC according to the prophesies and lived in Nazareth during his childhood, before eventually returning to Bethlehem where he was born. Despite being a child, Jesus was considered a leader to the Christian people, preaching the word of the Lord in the synagogues and temples from the age of 9. He continued to preach the word to the masses throughout his lifetime, attracting huge crowds from all around the country.
However, Jesus was putting many of the highest priests in the country to shame by pointing out their flaws and bringing the attention away from them, and they unhappy about this. Because of this the priests began to make claims against Jesus, stating that he had destroyed the temples and demanding that he be sentenced to death. This information made its way to the disciple Judas, who gave Jesus away for 30 silver coins. He was then put on trial in front of Pilate, who, against his better judgement, sentences Jesus to death on Good Friday. Three days after his death Mary Magdalene goes to his grave and finds the boulder has been rolled away and the Jesus has risen again. Jesus then spends the next 40 days on earth before returning to Heaven to sit on the right-hand side of his father.
